About Us
The Initiative for Community Empowerment & Development (ICED) is a non-partisan, non- governmental, and non-religious nonprofit organization founded in 2015 in response to the profound socio-economic challenges facing youth, children (including adolescent girls), vulnerable women and men, and people living with disabilities in South Sudan. This group of individuals was united by a shared vision to address the dire needs created by South Sudan’s prolonged conflict and ongoing economic crisis.
